CARE FOR FOOTWEAR

Wipe, don't scrub.

Use a soft, damp cloth or suede-safe brush to gently clean. Avoid hard pressure to prevent abrasion.

Keep it mild.

Cold water + mild solutions only. No bleach, harsh detergents, or solvents.

Dry naturally.

Air-dry at room temperature. Keep away from direct sunlight, heaters, or dryers; heat can warp the shape.

Rain care.

Avoid wearing it during heavy rain. If wet, blot with microfiber cloth, air-dry well before storing/wearing.

CARE FOR WALLETS

Light clean, long life.

Dust off with a soft dry cloth. For deeper cleaning, use a slightly damp microfiber cloth with mild soap

Shape matters.

Avoid over-stuffing the wallet. It could lead to loss of shape & weaken structure.

Keep it cool.

Always store in a dust bag or original box, away from direct sunlight and moisture.

Avoid friction.

Donʼt keep sharp or rough objects in the same pocket or bag, they can scratch the surface.

CARE FOR BELTS

Straight, not scrunched.

Hang belts vertically or roll loosely when storing to prevent creases.

Spot clean only.

Use a soft cloth with mild soap and water; avoid soaking or abrasive cleaning.

No bend battles.

Donʼt fold or twist unnecessarily - it creases the material over time.

Rotate for longevity.

Alternate between belts to avoid wearing out your favorite one too soon.

Clean gently, not aggressively.

All uppers use plant-based or natural materials. Always wipe or brush softly. Avoid hard scrubbing, bleach, alcohol, or chemical cleaners—they damage hemp fibers and plant-based surfaces.

Water is okay. Soaking is not.

These are not waterproof shoes. If they get wet, air-dry in shade only. Never use hair dryers, heaters, or direct sun—heat can crack cork, stiffen hemp, and weaken sugarcane-based uppers.

Let them breathe.

Hemp and cork are naturally breathable. After wear, store in an open, dry space. Avoid plastic bags or damp, closed areas to prevent odor and material fatigue.

Brush > Wipe > Wash.

Remove dust with a soft brush first.
Wipe with a slightly damp cloth if needed.
Wash specific areas (like the hemp footbed) occasionally by hand using mild soap only.

Handle the footbed with care.

Cork is resilient but not indestructible. Avoid bending the sole, stepping on the back counter, or storing footwear under heavy weight.

Avoid long, harsh exposure.

Extended rain, mud, or strong sun accelerates aging—fading hemp, drying cork, and dulling finishes.

Odor care, the natural way.

Sprinkle a little baking soda inside overnight, then shake out. Avoid spraying perfumes or deodorants directly inside.

Store them right.

Store clean and fully dry. Use paper inside to hold shape. Keep in your Ethik care bag or on an open shelf—never in airtight boxes.
