Bread N Butter Brown is a plain lace-up Derby in a rich brown for the working week and the days just outside it. It goes with navy, grey and beige trousers, and with chinos when the office goes casual on Friday.
The brown upper is clean and plain, with a soft tumbled grain, an open four-eyelet lacing and neat double stitching along the quarters. The toe is burnished a shade darker, so a simple shoe still has some depth. Matching brown laces, a dark brown lining and an embossed Ethik mark on the side finish it. The upper is cut from vegan microfibre, a finer, denser material than standard synthetics, so it keeps its shape, wears better and lasts longer.
The Derby cut opens wider at the laces and the last is roomy across the front, so it is easy to get on and kind to a broader foot. The PU footbed and grooved TPR sole give grip from wet station stairs to polished office floors. Choose Bread N Butter Brown for everyday office wear with more warmth. Pick Bread N Butter Black for the most formal days, or Amiable for a sleeker, more pointed Derby.
