Know Your Materials

Sugarcane Bagasse Leather (Upper)
A plant-based leather alternative made from sugarcane waste. It is soft, durable, and significantly lower in environmental impact than conventional synthetic leather. In compost-like conditions, it can begin breaking down within months to a few years instead of lasting decades, once disposed.

Handloom Hemp Weave (Uppers & Women’s Footbed)
Hemp is a naturally breathable, strong, and odor-resistant fiber. As a pure natural material, slight withering is part of normal aging and regular wear. Hemp can biodegrade in approximately 3 to 12 months in soil or high-microbial environments, once disposed. 

Cork + EVA Sole
Cork is renewable, lightweight, and naturally shock-absorbing, contributing to all-day comfort. It can biodegrade in about 1–3 years. EVA is added to improve grip, durability, and long-term wear performance.
